The file converters listed below run client-side, so their input files stay on your device. The clearly labelled AI Background Remover is a separate server-processed tool.
Every listed file conversion runs in your browser. We do not receive, store, or proxy the selected file. Runtime assets and optional consent-based site analytics can still make ordinary network requests, but they do not receive file contents.
Conversion runs locally after the required code and runtime assets load. No file-content upload or EGO HERO conversion queue is involved.
EGO HERO does not impose a daily conversion quota or watermark. Practical file limits depend on your browser, device memory, format, and the converter runtime.
The converters need no signup or email. Optional consent-based site analytics is not sent filenames or file contents.

Runtime libraries and other page assets can still be requested from content-delivery providers, and optional consent-based site analytics can run if you consent; neither receives the selected file. The AI Background Remover is the clearly labelled exception and uses temporary EGO HERO server processing under the Privacy Policy. The browser-local converters need no account or EGO HERO conversion quota because the conversion work runs on your machine.
The ordinary file converters listed below do not upload or store the selected file: conversion runs in your browser. The separately labelled AI Background Remover temporarily uploads its image and result as described in the Privacy Policy.
The current scoped public tools are free. Browser-local conversion runs on your machine, so there is no EGO HERO conversion quota or paid tier. EGO HERO does not sell personal information; optional site analytics runs only with consent.

There is no single limit across every converter. Practical limits depend on your browser, device memory, file format, and the converter runtime; large files may fail or be slow, especially on mobile devices.
After the needed converter code and runtime assets have loaded, many conversions can continue if the connection drops. Some tools require a first online run, and page features such as translation and analytics require network access.
They use a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg — the same tool servers use, compiled to run inside your browser. Multi-threading is enabled when your browser supports SharedArrayBuffer.
Open your browser DevTools, go to the Network tab, and run a conversion. You will see no outbound requests carrying file data. The claim is auditable.
